Quality Management Training - July 2024
Emidio organised and carried out 3 workshops at Burmarrad Group in Luqa during which he explained the benefits related to having a Quality Management System in place, covering What is Quality, what is QMS, ISO9001, Standardisation, Continuous Improvement Strategies, PDCA Cycle, Company Procedures and Benefits.
The highly interactive course was delivered to the Directors, top management and middle management teams.
The course was followed by a multiple-choice questionnaire which was based on the content of the course followed by a discussion to go through the results.
Burmarrad Group Team...Well done and congratulations for completing the course.
Internal Auditor Course - May 2024
Maria-Christina has successfully completed the Internal Auditor Course accredited by CQI-IRCA and delivered on-line by Bureau Veritas.
The Course which was run over 2 whole days included the theory of internal auditing, thorough knowledge of the ISO9001 and other standards applicable, as well as workshops, groupwork and an exam at the end.
Various topics were covered such as the requirements for the ISO9001 Standard, the PDCA Cycle, how to prepare yourself before an Internal Audit and how to carry out an Internal Audit effectively.

Strategic Planning
Emidio, our Managing Partner, delivered a Root Cause Analysis course to a group of Analysts at General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd. earlier this year.
The course covered various aspects such as Problem Definition, Brainstorming, Data Collection Tools, Straight Line Probability, Standard Deviation and Cpk Calculation, Cause & Effects Analysis, 5 WHYs, Failure Prevention Analysis, Corrective Action Plans, Storyboards, Continuous Improvements, Managing Change & Effective Meetings.

We support JA through various initiatives apart from financial support. These include seminars for the Alumni, participating in the Best Business Plan competition held and organised by Deloitte, judging the Companies for the EFQ Quality Excellence Award and giving feedback throughout the whole programme.

Internal Auditor Training at SGS Italia S.p.a - May 2021
Emidio handing out the certificate to Mr. Constantine Galea, Operations Manager at SGS Italia (Malta) Branch, on successfully completing the course in Internal Auditing. The course duration was 30 hours and included all the theoretical aspects of ISO9001 and ISO 17025 in line with ISO19011 as well as mentoring and coaching whilst carrying out the Internal Audit on site at Birzebbugia.

Emidio delivered a Seminar to JAYE Achievers to explain what Quality is all about, to prepare them for the competition and the EFQ Quality Excellence Award. The Seminar was held at Deliotte premises in Mriehel.
December 2019
We also formed part of the judging panel for the Best Business Plan Award, from a Quality point of view, together with a team from Deliotte, who sponsor the award and host the event. Emidio was joined by Maria-Christina.
May 2020
The judging process for the EFQ Quality Excellence Award continued and was complete in May, thanks to Jeanette Zammit & Maria-Christina Grech Friggieri, who spent a substantial amount of time to complete the judging process. EFQ is greatful for their dedication, commitment and objective discussions.
On 3rd May the Winners were announced. The award went to UNISTORY who come from the Verdala International School.

Dec 2019 and Feb 2020
We have just completed delivering two training courses at The General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd. for two teams of employees coming from various sections within the company. The subjects were Root Cause Analysis and Statistical Process Control and both were delivered by our Managing Partner. The Mission Statement of The General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd. refers to "trained, dynamic, dedicated and responsive employees....." which was a real life experience throughout the two courses. Well done teams, you did very well.
These were another two successful events which received excellent feedback from the participants that included one participant rating us at "11" on a scale of "1 to 10", with 10 being the highest possible score available in evaluating the course. The overall average score achieved is 9.0, which shows our level of commitment to deliver the best quality.
We deliver in-house training on several topics including bespoke courses in accordance with your specific needs. Training courses vary from Quality Awareness for operatives to more advanced tools and techniques for senior staff members."

Team Building Event - Nov 2019
A recent team building event organised for Tek-Moulds Precision Engineering Ltd. was a great success with a new game that has been created and developed by the EFQ Management team.
It was a challenging game which was enjoyed by all participants as the photos depict.
After the event, one member said "We kept on talking about it during the whole week". Another said "I tried my best to negotiate with the other teams but with one we could not get exactly what we wanted, they were hard negotiators" there goes a lesson learnt like in the real business world!
This event was part of a full day workshop held for all the team members of Tek-Moulds. There were presentations by various speakers including the Managing Director, Kevin Busuttil.
This whole day was a success for the whole team.
